Our Club

Southern New Jersey's chapter since 1979

We are a proud member club of Friendship Force International — a global network dedicated to building world peace through personal friendship. As Ambassadors of Peace, we have traveled to twelve countries and hosted visitors from around the world right here in Southern NJ.

Our members come from various communities across Southern New Jersey and share one belief: that opening your home and your heart to someone from another culture changes both of you for the better.

Friendship Force International connects people across 90+ countries through home stays and cultural exchanges. Our SNJ chapter has been part of this worldwide mission since 1979 — hosting visitors and sending Ambassadors abroad.
How FF Exchanges Work

International hosting, worldwide

Friendship Force exchanges follow a time-tested model — real home stays, real friendships.

Match with a Club

Through the FF International network, our club connects with a partner club abroad for a reciprocal exchange.

Home Stays

Visiting Ambassadors stay in the homes of our members — real families, real meals, real connections across cultures.

Group Activities

Fun-filled, educational outings for all participants — exploring Southern NJ, American history, and local highlights.

Travel Outbound

Our own members travel as Ambassadors — staying with host families in partner countries through the same FF network.

Planning note for visiting clubs: A D.C. day trip is impractical from our area (6–7 hrs round trip). We suggest arranging D.C. separately before or after your exchange (bus from D.C. to Mt. Laurel ~$25). For NYC, we recommend Ellis Island and/or the Statue of Liberty as a more accessible alternative.

June 4 was a whirlwind day in Historical Philadelphia for our Dayton, Ohio Ambassadors — the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Constitution Center, a Military Muster next to the Portrait Gallery at the Second Bank, and lunch at Liberty Garden. A marvelous way to make new friends and visit our heritage!
